Know Who You Are
A business needs to know what it's good at, to know where it's market is.  The most successful companies are ones that work best for them and their clients.  These jobs are more profitable and lead to greater customer satisfaction, repeat business and growth.

Know What You Stand For and Which Direction?
Once you know what you are good at, you need to know what you stand for and how you differ from apparently similar businesses.  Only then, can you put across the right message.  This is the first stage of a marketing plan.  No marketing plan, no implementation, no strategy, no direction.  Know what you stand for, know where you are going and how, know who your audience.
